Sincere gratitude sums up our thoughts about Andrews Kurth Kenyon – the Houston branch – a firm that opened its first office in Houston, Texas, in 1902. Houston, the home office, is their largest office with approximately 220 lawyers who provide comprehensive legal services in areas such as appellate, bankruptcy, business transactions, corporate/securities, energy, environmental, alternative energy, intellectual property, labor & employment, litigation, public law and tax. The Houston office, and Attorney Gregory Porter, prepared the copyright on the “Price of Liberty” Monument pro bono as a service to military members and their families that have served since 9/11/2001. We appreciate Greg and Andrews Kurth Kenyon for supporting the “Price of Liberty.”
It is with deep appreciation and gratitude that we recognize Cardno Haynes Whaley – a company that provides comprehensive structural engineering services for a broad range of public, commercial, and institutional projects around the world – for the generous donation of its services. Together, Managing Principal Mark Merryman, P.E. and Francisco Cuevas, P.E., an engineer in the firm’s Austin office, completed a structural engineering study that was required by the Texas State Preservation Board. This donation allowed the funds for the study to go directly to the construction of the Texas War Memorial.
